This weekend was so much fun thank you for showing me that Jersey is not Stinky
Dear Lucia,
I am home safe from visiting you! As you know it was harrowing getting here, but that is so worth it to spend time with you. I had an absolutely amazing weekend, and I miss you so much already.
I didn’t have many expectations going into this, seeing as when you visited me we kind of made weird cake and watched Buffy, but this was a great weekend and I got to see so much of your home state!
Your family is so kind, and I am so happy I actually got to meet them (as opposed to just being rushed off to the airport like last time). Your mother has a hilarious sense of humor, and I can see where you get your love of cooking from. It is so clear seeing you two together that you both show love through food and giving to others. All I said to your dad was hi and bye everyday but I think we also really hit it off. And I also literally only said goodbye to your brother, but hey, cool kid.
Spending time with you is like coming home. I love just vibing, I also love going on adventures, and whatever we do you always make better. Who though cucumber chips would be so delicious???? I never would have tried them without you.
Here’s to more trips in abandoned houses, more karaoke nights, more vegan cafes, and more time together!
